Nailed: Barry m tangerine 136
Just applied the Barry m tangerine nail polish as I fancied something bright and cheerful (unlike the weather!)
I've used this polish a few times and it lasts pretty well on the nails I get a couple of days without chipping, so better than some other drugstore polishes although not as cheap as say the mua ones.
It reminds me a bit of gamma polish by illamasqua which is currently 50% off on the website (as is a few other items for their Easter sale) have a look :)
Anyway here I've applied 2 coats and the finish is opaque. The nails are very shiny as the polish has a shimmer to it, which I like! :)
Available from boots and SuperDrug and anywhere else you can find Barry m. Not a sponsored post. Neither were any of my other posts, I will state clearly if a post is sponsored! :)
Thanks for stopping by, xx

Nailed: MUA Nail Polish in shade 5
Budget Nail Polishes- are they any good?

I've had this MUA nail polish for quite a while now, and haven't really used it much to be honest. I applied 3 coats to get an opaque finish, shown in the pictures.
The brush to apply the polish is very small, and i found this a bit of a difficulty when applying it as it was hard to cover the nail, if you're an OPI fan, you'll probably think the same. However, once applied the colour was lovely, my nails were shiny, and I liked the colour.
How did it last?
Not great to be honest, i got just over a day before i noticed chipping, but by then i was bored of it anyway (I rarely keep nail polish on for more than a couple of days), but if you applied a top coat, or even better, a gel top coat, the polish would last much longer.
Overall thoughts? You can't really go wrong for £1 or 90p if you've got a NUS card for 10% off! Definitely pick it up if you haven't already!

Little st moritz spend!
So I went to boundary mill which is an outlet store today with my auntie who has altseimers and didn't really look round much, but I spotted a st moritz stand and picked up this st moritz gift set for just £7 and then got 10% off so I only paid £6.30!
The little set contains self tanning lotion for your body which is permanent and a facial tanner which is wash off and also a bronzer which is quite shimmery but would make a beautiful eye shadow if nothing else! Ive swatches it for you so you can see it
He set comes in the shades light and dark, I have the light but I'm thinking about also picking up the dark set!

Cosmetic Company Store CCO/ CCS Haul
Last week, I visited Cheshire Oaks, where there's a Cosmetic Company Store, or if you live in the US, you may know it better as a CCO!
If you don't already know, CCS sells products from Estee Lauder, which includes obviously Estee Lauder itself, MAC, Bobbi Brown, and Clinique! The store sells products from old limited edition collections, and discontinued products, as well as current lines at a reduced price!
Any makeup lover will love it! I bought stuff mainly from MAC, and spent quite a lot!!
(All Bought With my own Money)
I managed to get some items from the Wonder Woman Collection, and Venomous Villains Collections, both of which I missed out on when they were around!
Here's my stuff: I Bought items all from MAC, from the WOnder WOman Collection, Venomous Villains Collection and the Christmas collection, which I think was called Fire and Ice. (There the products in the white and silver packaging.)
First I have the Wonder Woman Quad with the eyeshadows, Defiance, Paradise Island, Star Studded, Real Drama. They look hard to wear (being all pink tones) but I've found that they actually look really flattering, Im not sure if they'd work on all skin tones, but on my skin tone (very fair, shade B10 in Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua to give you and idea) they look really nice!
The swatches below are in the order that they are in the palette. As you can see the two darker shades are the most pigmented, whilst the two paler shades are more sheer and skin toned. Together these eye shadows work lovely together, and I'd really recommend getting them if you can!
Next is a mineralise eye shadow in the colour Odd Couple. Theres a sparkly purple, and a gold sheer eyeshadow with purple undertones. Together, they look very striking, and for a more dramatic look, they blend excellently with My DArk Magic (mineralise eye shadow from the venomous villains collection, which they didn't have at the CCO but it might be available on ebay). As with all mineralise eye shadows, a base is essential. i like painterly paint pot, and i although i use it under all my eye makeup, i find it gives dramatic difference to mineralise eye shadows.
The Next product is another Mineralize eyeshadow, called Fresh and Easy, and is a trio of a pale blue, pale pink and bronze. An unlikely combination, but they look lovely together, as well as the pink and bronze together, and the blue and bronze together. I also use the bronze when doing a neutral eye.
The next product s a MAC dream bounce shadow (which i think are discontinued) in the colour Impeccably Rich, which is a gorgeous gold colour, and when blended looks really pretty! I've been using this as a base for a neutral eye using shimmer eyeshadows which gives a lovely effect, and it also works really well with the gold from the odd couple duo.
Next I got the Fabulously Festive Face Kit, in warm, which contains: 1 powder blush in seasonal appeal, 4 eyeshadows in fard a paupieres, golden flurry, soft brown, omega and carbon. The eyeshadows are super pigmented, and the blush is pretty sheer, which is nice, as you can build it to however much you want (I'm not a fan of ott bush!).
Next is a product I've wanted since the collection came out: Beauty Powder in Briar Rose from the venom our villains maleficent collection! (I loved the venomous villains collection!). I've heard mixed reviews about Mac's beauty powders, and yes they are sheer compared to the mac blushes, and I actually really like them , maybe because I'm very pale, but I find this product super easy to work with, and find it looks lovely and has great staying power!
LOVE the packaging!!!! :)
Next I have the wonder woman Mineralize Skinfinish, which I love, Incase you haven't noticed, I'm a fan of the Mineralize!!! they're great for sensitive acne prone skin! I love this product, its larger than the normal MSFs but you can use it for bronzer, blush and highlight- perfect for travelling and in your handbag! :)
Next I have a lipstick in Mellowwarm, which came with the mini palette from the same collection, and also the lip glass and a few brushes in a makeup bag! (I haven't photographed the brushes)
It's a bit darker than i usually go far, but I actually really like it! (I don't know why my hand looks blue in the photo though!)
